Nature's Garden

Indian Paintbrush
between Riverton and Hudson, WY
May 2015
I rarely carry a "real" camera anymore because I snap photos with my phone, and on Saturday,  I longed for an actual camera.

All the recent rain has brought the sagebrush hills alive with grass, lush sage, and pockets of Indian Paintbrush bursting into bloom.

Please forgive the somewhat blurry photo and enjoy Nature's Garden with me.

  1. I love seeing the Indian Paint Brush. I will be looking for it!

  2. I too love all the wildflowers out now. I've noticed here that the ferns are now unfurling in the ditches (the ones the township hasn't mowed over yet).

  3. We have some here too it will bloom in a few weeks. Your photo shows the clumps of orange quite well! :)
